Subject: EPLANET update IMPORTANT!

IRSES is a project where there is no call for proposals. The institutes will send their staff members/fellows that have been previously designated, to perform the specific activity written in the working program (Annex1).

Before the trip

To receive the grant, the designated person must fulfill some requirements according to the EC rules, so you will need an authorization from the Coordination before the trips can start. We will need the following documents from the proposed grant-holders:

1. Copy of the contract of the staff members (valid during the stay in the host institute)
2. Copy of the fellowship contract of the PhD students. The fellowship must be valid during their stay in the host institution and must be a national fellowship, full time. The fellowship must be for studying and performing research in the original institution, not only for attending courses.
3. Copy of the passport
4. Curriculum Vitae
5. Documents certifying an insurance valid in Europe and in particular in the Geneva area.
6. Letter explaining the type of activity while in detachment.

Once on site

Once in the host organization, we will require:

1. Copy of the plane ticket and boarding cards
2. Monthly work sheet signed by the supervisor in the host institution

3. Association attestation (once they are registered at CERN) or a letter from the host institute stating the period when the grant-holder was working there
4. Signed monthly receipts of payment, for the whole period of the stay.

5. A detailed report written by the grant-holder, with the signature of the supervisor in the host institution. The grant-holders must describe the work they did and how did they accomplish the objectives of the visit.

Travel Tickets:

Please take into account that the original institutions have been required to contribute with the plane tickets of their staff/fellows.

Original Proposal:

The original travel planning granted can be found here. It consists of 4 people going during 6 months total for 4 years. Only ER (Experienced Researchers) are entitled to receive the grant. All PhD's are considered as ER.

• NB: There is a restriction for converting ER stays into ESR ones, but no problem in the other way around (ESR to ER).
