Postdoctoral Fellowship

Procedures for registration on FAPESP

In order to get a postdoctoral fellowship from FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation), the applicant should register and fill out all necessary information at FAPESP' SAGE database system. Instructions follows below.

SAGe System

• First go to www.fapesp.br/sage.
• Click on the "sem cadastro?" (no account?) link, as shown below:

• On the window that will open, insert your full name, country, birth date and, if you are not brazilian, select "estrangeiro" (foreigner), as shown below:

• The CPF field is optional for foreigners.
• After all the necessary fields are filled click on "Confirm" button

• On the next screen type your e-mail, identification, password (twice, for confirmation) and then click on "salvar" (save) button, as shown below:

• The password and identification must have 5 to 10 characters.

• Go back to www.fapesp.br/sage and login with the identification and password created above.

• After the login, go to the menu "Meus Dados>Alteração de Cadastro" (My Data>Alteration of Registration):

• Select the tab "Identificação" (Identification) and fill the fields as follows:

• If you are married, please fill your spouse information

• Then in the tab "Endereço" (Address) click on "incluir" (Include) to add a business address:

• In the next window, fill the options/blanks as follows:

• On the "Vinc. Empreg / Credenciamento" (Employment), select "Não" (No), as shown below:

• Go to the tab "Formação Acadêmica" (Academic Formation), select "sim" (yes) and click in "Incluir":

You will have to add a field for each academic formation level you have. The levels are as follows:

• After you click in "incluir" fill the window as follows:

• In the tab "Áreas de Atuação" (Area of Expertize) insert at least four keywords (Palavras Chave) in the blank bellow Palavras Chave:

• The last tabs "Dados Adicionais" and "Observações" are not obrigatory, however feel free to fill out the fields as follows:

• Click on the "Salvar" / Save button.

• *After you finish this registration process at the age system, inform your supervisor so he/she can proceed with the fellowship solicitation. Be prepared to present in a .pdf format the following documents:

1. Master's/PhD School Record
2. Reference letter's
3. Certification of PhD completion
