CSA06: Computing, Software, and Analysis challenge
First Week
- Started on Monday 2/October.
- Make sure that site storage and network are ready. We have permission to delete min-bias and Zmumu samples.
- Turn off your LoadTest agents for now so we can concentrate on CSA06 (production) transfers.
- T0 will reconstruct and send to T1. Starting with min-bias samples. FNAL is expected to receive about 28 TB in 7 streams, which will arrive at a rate of about 5 TB/day.
- As data arrive at FNAL, they will be subscribed to the T2's -- one stream per site.
- T2 sites can expect transfers starting as soon as Monday, but only at a rate of less than 1 TB/day.
CSA06 metrics and targets, and first week balance can be found at

Second Week
- Splitting of streams into sub-samples at T1, with subsequent transfer to T2
- Stability is the goal
Third Week
- CSA06 analysis jobs will start to come to sites.
