ThermInAtor
ThermInAtor is is a Monte Carlo event generator designed for studies of particle production in relativistic heavy-ion collisions performed at such experimental facilities as the SPS, RHIC, or LHC. The program implements the thermal model of particle production with single freeze-out, performing the following tasks:
- Generation of stable particles and unstable resonances at the chosen freeze-out hypersurface with the local phase-space density of particles given by statistical distribution functions.
- Subsequent space-time evolution and decays of hadronic resonances.
- Calculation of the transverse-momentum spectra or other observables.
The code is written in c++ and uses the ROOT environment. It uses the same universal input for particle properties as SHARE.
